Privacy

Your privacy on this site

This site is here so you can hear Mohamed Abbas and invite him to your community. It does not track you.

No analytics, no tracking

This site uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. It does not build a profile of you.

Videos and nasheeds load only when you press play

Videos play through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), and nasheeds through SoundCloud's player. Neither player loads until you press play. Once you do, YouTube or SoundCloud provides that player under its own privacy policy. The TRT Arabi clip is stored on this site and plays from here.

Fonts and page code

The page's fonts load from Google Fonts, and the code that draws the gold wave loads from cdnjs. These services receive the technical details any browser sends with a request, such as your IP address.

What stays on your device

If you switch between the night and day look, your browser remembers that choice. The site also remembers, for the current visit only, that it has already shown you The Desk invitation. Both stay in your browser and are never sent to us.

Contacting Mohamed

The only way this site collects anything from you is when you choose to write to Mohamed, by email at [email protected] or through The Desk once it opens. What you send is used only to answer your request.

Hosting

Like any website, the company that hosts this site may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running.
